Monamour (2005) follows a young married woman in northern Italy who feels neglected by her husband and struggles with unfulfilled passion in their sex life. While attending a book festival in Mantua, she meets a handsome French artist and embarks on a passionate affair that awakens new desires and challenges her sense of loyalty. The film explores how love, jealousy, and erotic discovery alter both her relationship and her understanding of intimacy.
