The world’s deadliest and most dazzlingly female agent!
Synopsis
Modesty Blaise (1966) centers on a celebrated adventurer and ex-criminal operative enlisted by British intelligence to protect a shipment of valuable diamonds from an international mastermind. As she reunites with her longtime partner and moves through a succession of disguises, kidnappings, and shifting alliances, the operation expands into a stylized conflict involving elaborate criminal schemes and covert manipulation. This British pop-art spy adventure centers on espionage within a world of theatrical excess, as rival plans begin to collide, with identity games, criminal ambition, and covert strategy.
