Synopsis
Max and the Junkmen (1971) follows a police investigator who orchestrates a complex sting involving small-time crooks as bait to lure and apprehend a dangerous killer. As the operation unfolds, the line between law enforcement and underworld complicity blurs, with tense manipulation, moral compromise and personal cost emerging at every turn. This crime thriller blends procedural insight and psychological depth in a restrained, character-driven portrait of justice and moral ambiguity.
