Film Synopsis
And Hope to Die (1972) follows a man fleeing violent retribution after a tragic accident who ends up in a foreign city where he witnesses a deadly confrontation and comes into possession of a large amount of cash. Attracted and then reluctantly pulled into the schemes of a local criminal gang, he must navigate shifting loyalties, double-crosses and an ambitious crime plot while trying to stay alive. This crime-drama blends road-movie urgency, noir-style tension and moral ambiguity in a story that examines survival, trust and betrayal.
