Edition and Packaging Notes
- Kino’s Blu-ray includes trailers for Bob le flambeur (1956) and Le doulos (1962). The “24 heures de la vie d’un clown” short is also available on Criterion’s Blu-ray of Le Silence de la Mer (1949).
- Studio Canal’s Blu-ray is included in the “Melville: The Essential Collection” box set with Bob le flambeur (1956), Le doulos (1962), L’armée des ombres (1969) and Le cercle rouge (1970) and Un flic (1972); and includes a 60-page booklet. The “In the Mood for Melville” extra is also available on Kino’s Blu-ray of Un flic (1972). The “24 heures de la vie d’un clown” short is also available on Criterion’s Blu-ray of Le Silence de la Mer (1949).
