Film Synopsis
Johnny Allegro (1949) centers on a reformed ex-mobster whose quiet life as a florist is interrupted when government investigators ask him to identify a fugitive he once knew. As his cooperation draws him into an undercover operation targeting a sophisticated criminal organization while a ruthless gang leader seeks to protect a lucrative counterfeiting scheme, he becomes increasingly entangled in a deadly game of deception. This film noir crime thriller examines redemption and loyalty within a world where the past remains difficult to escape, as personal survival becomes inseparable from the pursuit of justice, with undercover infiltration, organized crime, and betrayal.
