In his isolated mansion he conjured up a world of horror.
Synopsis
Howl of the Devil (1988) follows a washed‑up stage and screen actor living in an isolated Spanish mansion whose obsessive games with women and love of classic horror tropes mask a deeper spiral into violence when visitors begin dying under mysterious circumstances. As his nephew’s vivid imagination conjures the spirit of the actor’s famous dead brother through a parade of monstrous archetypes and a black‑gloved killer stalks the estate, reality and nightmare intermingle with grim finality. This Spanish horror blends exploitation shock, macabre homage, and grotesque suspense in a cult oddity steeped in classic monster mythos.
