Film Synopsis
Gothika (2003) portrays a criminal psychiatrist whose encounter with a mysterious woman on a rain-soaked road ends in a car crash. She awakens as a patient in her own institution, accused of murdering her husband, while violent supernatural occurrences complicate her efforts to recover her memories and prove her innocence. This psychological horror blends institutional confinement, murder mystery, and supernatural imagery with a dark, claustrophobic atmosphere.
