Four Ways Out… and each a man trap!
Synopsis
Four Ways Out (1951) follows four inexperienced criminals who rob a stadium office during a crowded football match and scatter across the city before dividing the money. As police investigations intensify and each man attempts a different escape route, personal desperation, guilt, and betrayal steadily undermine their chances of avoiding capture. This Italian neorealist crime drama centers on the collapse of a failed robbery under mounting pressure, as authorities tighten their pursuit, with poverty, criminal ambition, and postwar instability.
