Film Synopsis
Five Days (1954) follows a London businessman whose financial collapse leads him to arrange his own death so his wife can collect the payout from his life insurance policy. When his fortunes unexpectedly recover, he desperately searches for the man he hired in order to cancel the fatal agreement before it is carried out. This British crime thriller blends noir fatalism, psychological tension, and moral desperation while examining greed, manipulation, and the consequences of irreversible decisions.
