Synopsis
Fire Maidens of Outer Space (1956) centers on a joint British-American space expedition sent to investigate an Earth-like atmosphere discovered on Jupiter’s thirteenth moon. As the astronauts encounter the last survivors of a lost Atlantean civilization while an inhuman creature stalks the wilderness beyond their walled city, they become caught in a struggle involving ancient customs, survival, and escape. This British science-fiction adventure examines exploration and survival within a fantastical lost-world setting, as space travel and mythological legend converge, with alien civilizations, monstrous threats, and interplanetary adventure.
