Film Synopsis
Dirty Mary Crazy Larry (1974) centers on two stock car racers who stage a robbery to finance their ambitions in professional racing before escaping through the California countryside in a high-performance muscle car. As highway patrol units coordinate a widening manhunt and a reckless young woman forces her way into the getaway, the chase escalates through roadblocks, aerial pursuit, and increasingly dangerous confrontations on the highway. This action road thriller examines rebellion and reckless freedom within a fading counterculture landscape, as authorities tighten their pursuit, with criminal ambition, speed-driven obsession, and existential fatalism.
