A crash course in traffic school
Film Synopsis
Moving Violations (1985) centers on a collection of repeat traffic offenders ordered to attend a court-mandated driving school after accumulating violations ranging from reckless driving to public disorder. As rivalries between eccentric instructors, romantic entanglements, and increasingly destructive mishaps disrupt the training program while the students struggle to avoid losing their licenses, the school descends into escalating comic chaos. This comedy film examines authority and irresponsibility within a deliberately absurd institutional setting, as control begins to break down, with juvenile misbehavior, bureaucratic incompetence, and vehicular mayhem.
