Film Synopsis
Dick Tracy (1990) follows Dick Tracy as he seeks evidence against Big Boy Caprice, a crime boss consolidating the city’s rival gangs under his control. His pursuit is complicated by nightclub singer Breathless Mahoney, a reluctant witness attracted to him, and his growing responsibility for an orphaned boy. This comic-strip crime adventure uses a restricted palette of bold colours, expressionistic sets, prosthetic makeup, and musical interludes to transform hard-boiled crime into a pop-art spectacle.
