A story so unusual it will burn itself into your mind.
Synopsis
Carnival of Souls (1962) follows a church organist who, after surviving a car crash, relocates to a new town to take up a position at a local church. As she struggles to connect with those around her, she experiences recurring visions of a pale figure and becomes fixated on an abandoned carnival site on the outskirts of town. This psychological horror film develops creeping unease, with alienation, fractured perception, and lingering trauma distorting behavior.
