Drama of a girl threatened by her past!
Cage of Gold (1950) follows a young woman who leaves her dependable fiancé for a charismatic former lover who marries her and then abandons her when financial expectations collapse. As she rebuilds her life and remarries under the belief that he is dead, her past resurfaces when he reappears and begins to exploit her situation. This British drama blends romantic melodrama and crime elements in a story of deception, vulnerability, and moral consequence.
