They hit the jackpot in the world’s richest gambling house!
Synopsis
5 Against the House (1955) follows a group of Korean War–veteran college friends who devise an elaborate casino heist as a theoretical challenge meant to prove a security loophole. As one of them, still shaken by wartime trauma, becomes determined to carry out the robbery for real, their harmless experiment spirals into genuine peril. This crime-drama blends procedural ingenuity and post-war tension in a taut study of loyalty, instability, and unintended consequence.
