Weekend at Bernie’s (1989) follows two low-level employees invited to their boss’s luxurious beach house for a weekend getaway. When they discover that their host has been murdered, the pair panic and attempt to maintain the illusion that he is still alive while others continue to interact with him. This black comedy blends farce, crime intrigue, and escalating absurdity as the two men struggle to conceal the truth.
