The Man with One Red Shoe (1985) follows a Washington, D.C. concert violinist who becomes the unwitting pawn in an internal CIA power struggle after being randomly selected as a decoy spy. As surveillance teams trail him and fabricate evidence of espionage, he remains unaware that his ordinary routines are interpreted as coded maneuvers. This comedy thriller blends political farce and mistaken identity in a satire of bureaucratic paranoia.
