An incredible tale of terror and suspense… above and below the sea.
Film Synopsis
Warlords of Atlantis (1978) concerns a diving engineer who joins a professor and his son on an 1896 expedition searching for evidence of Atlantis. When the discovery of a golden statue incites mutiny, explorers and crew members are dragged into an undersea civilization whose advanced rulers intend to keep surface dwellers captive. This British science-fantasy adventure turns Victorian exploration into colourful lost-world spectacle through elaborate undersea settings, practical creature effects, and fast-moving action.
