A study of heat and light.
Vibration (1968) follows a frustrated writer who travels to a remote Swedish island for a summer break and soon finds himself drawn into a web of sensual encounters and emotional confusion. As he alternates between relationships with a seductive local woman and a free-spirited film actress, the laid-back island rhythms blur into episodes of jealousy, drugs, and introspection. This Swedish drama blends eroticism, mood-driven character interaction, and the restless energy of youth in a study of passion and self-discovery.

Arty editing, sun-dappled cinematography, and joyous sexuality are the order of the day here, and Vibration is a breezy reminder of what softcore was like just before Sweden's next big shocker export, I Am Curious (Yellow).
