Film Synopsis
Thunderbird 6 (1968) finds Brains tasked with designing a sixth rescue vehicle while his revolutionary airship, Skyship One, prepares for its maiden journey around the world. Enemy agents infiltrate the airship’s crew and turn the voyage into a trap for the International Rescue members aboard, creating a crisis that demands an unconventional rescue. This British science-fiction adventure combines Supermarionation puppetry and elaborate miniature effects with a contrast between technological innovation and practical ingenuity.
