Film Synopsis
The Secret of the Red Orchid (1962) follows a Scotland Yard inspector and an American FBI captain who investigate a wave of extortionate murders when rival Chicago gangsters relocate to London and begin targeting wealthy citizens. As bodies accumulate, blackmail letters arrive and the conspiracy threads through high society and crooked fronts, pulling a secretary and her dubious suitors into the mounting peril. This Krimi-crime thriller blends transatlantic gangster menace and fog-bound suspense in a pulpy study of greed, violence, and deception.
