It’s a plot! …to make the world die laughing!
Film Synopsis
The Russians Are Coming the Russians Are Coming (1966) presents a Soviet submarine running aground near a small New England island during the Cold War. A landing party attempts to find a boat without attracting attention, but rumours quickly transform the accident into a feared Russian invasion. This Cold War satire examines how suspicion, misinformation, and militarism can turn an encounter between ordinary people into an international crisis.
