Film Synopsis
The Missouri Breaks (1976) centers on a horse thief whose gang purchases a Montana ranch as cover for rustling. After their activities provoke a wealthy neighbouring rancher, he employs an unpredictable regulator to hunt them down. This revisionist Western combines frontier violence, dark humour, and psychological tension in a conflict between outlaw individualism and private justice.
