Synopsis
The Lady Eve (1941) follows a skilled gambler who sets out to swindle a socially awkward millionaire returning from an expedition. As she unexpectedly falls in love with him and is later rejected, she reenters his life under a false identity to continue the deception. This comedy blends romantic intrigue and sharp wit in a story of deception, desire, and social performance.
