Film Synopsis
The Intruder (1953) follows a former colonel who encounters a burglar in his home and recognizes him as a once-respected soldier from his regiment. As he tracks down former comrades to understand what led the man into criminal life, the story unfolds through accounts of their wartime and postwar experiences. This British drama blends crime elements and social realism in a story of disillusionment, class divide, and the aftermath of war.
