Film Synopsis

The End (1978) centers on a man who learns that he has a terminal illness and struggles with the prospect of a slow and painful death. Determined to end his life on his own terms, his plans take an increasingly absurd turn after he encounters an unstable psychiatric patient eager to assist him. This black comedy combines mortality, desperation, dark humor, and broad physical farce in an irreverent exploration of the fear of dying.
