Film Synopsis
The Day of the Dolphin (1973) centers on a marine scientist whose pioneering research teaches dolphins to communicate through human speech. As his remarkable achievement attracts conspirators determined to exploit the animals in a political assassination plot, he races to protect both the dolphins and the work that has transformed human understanding of animal intelligence.
