His mind is her prison.
Synopsis
The Cell (2000) centers on a child psychologist who uses an experimental neural interface to enter the subconscious of a comatose serial killer in a desperate race to save his final captive. As she navigates a nightmarish landscape shaped by trauma, memory, and fractured identity, the line between reality and imagination grows increasingly dangerous. This science fiction horror film combines visionary visual design with suspense and psychological drama, examining empathy, identity, trauma, and the darkness of the human mind.
