Wanted: Four men willing to drive a cargo of death to escape a life in hell.

Synopsis

Sorcerer (1977) centers on four men from different parts of the world who find themselves trapped in an isolated oil-company settlement after fleeing violence, crime, and political turmoil. As a catastrophic oil-well fire creates a desperate need for explosives while the only available nitroglycerin has become dangerously unstable, they volunteer to transport the volatile cargo across hundreds of miles of treacherous terrain for a reward that could secure their escape. This action thriller examines fate and survival within an unforgiving world where every decision carries mortal consequences, as desperation gives way to endurance, with exile, danger, and human perseverance.
