Synopsis
Southern Comfort (1981) follows a Louisiana National Guard unit conducting weekend maneuvers in a rural swamp. As their actions anger local Cajun inhabitants, the soldiers find themselves pursued through unfamiliar terrain with limited resources. This action thriller blends survival tension and social allegory in a story of fear, conflict, and the consequences of intrusion.
