Film Synopsis
Son of Samson (1960) follows the mighty strongman Maciste, who arrives in ancient, Persian-ruled Egypt and finds the country oppressed by a scheming queen who manipulates the pharaoh and holds sway over the land. As he rallies the downtrodden and leads a daring revolt to free the rightful heir and rescue his beloved from enslavement, battles and betrayal mount across desert battlegrounds and palace halls. This peplum adventure blends heroic revolt and romantic peril in a grand study of courage and liberation.
