Synopsis
Shampoo (1975) follows a Los Angeles hairdresser navigating a web of romantic entanglements with several women on the eve of the 1968 presidential election. As he pursues financial backing to open his own salon, his personal and professional ambitions become increasingly complicated by overlapping relationships. This comedy blends satire and social observation in a story of desire, ambition, and shifting cultural values.
