Film Synopsis
Scalpel (1977) follows a wealthy but unhinged plastic surgeon who transforms a disfigured young woman to resemble his missing daughter, hoping to reclaim his lost inheritance. As deception and desire intertwine, their twisted relationship spirals toward violence and revelation. This Southern gothic psychological thriller blends identity, obsession, and greed in a haunting study of beauty and moral corruption.
