Synopsis
P.J. (1968) centers on New York private investigator Peter Joseph “P.J.” Detweiler, who takes a lucrative job protecting the mistress of a powerful millionaire. As a growing attraction develops between the detective and the woman he is assigned to guard while a murder, a calculated frame-up, and hidden agendas reveal that he has been manipulated from the beginning, he finds himself fighting to uncover the truth behind an elaborate scheme. This neo-noir crime thriller examines deception and survival within a world where wealth and influence conceal ruthless ambitions, as personal loyalties become increasingly difficult to trust, with murder, conspiracy, and private-eye investigation.
