Sometimes dead is better.

Synopsis

Pet Sematary (1989) centers on a physician who relocates his family to rural Maine, where an elderly neighbour introduces them to a children’s pet cemetery and an ancient burial ground hidden deep in the surrounding woods. As devastating loss drives him toward an unthinkable decision despite repeated warnings, he discovers that some boundaries are never meant to be crossed. This supernatural horror film blends psychological terror, folk horror, and family tragedy as grief, denial, and the consequences of defying death shape one of Stephen King’s most haunting stories.
