She won’t be silenced.
Synopsis
Mute Witness (1995) follows a mute American makeup artist working on a low-budget horror film in Moscow who becomes trapped inside the studio after hours. As she stumbles upon the filming of a real murder and is discovered by those responsible, the situation intensifies into a desperate attempt to escape while remaining unheard and unseen. This British-German-Russian horror thriller blends claustrophobic suspense, urban isolation, and meta-cinematic tension in an examination of vulnerability, exploitation, and survival.
