Film Synopsis
Moving Violation (1976) centers on a wandering auto worker who forms a relationship with a local waitress shortly before the pair accidentally witness a murder committed by a powerful sheriff. As the sheriff frames them for the killing and mobilizes law enforcement across multiple counties while the couple races to find legal help and expose the truth, a relentless series of pursuits turns their flight into a desperate struggle for survival. This action crime thriller examines corruption and abuse of authority within a rural Southern landscape, as authorities tighten their pursuit, with wrongful accusation, institutional violence, and outlaw resistance.
