Marie-Chantal has all of the ingredients you could possibly ask for from a good spy film: fun characters, self-awareness, good music, loads of color and some beautiful babes in minimal amounts of clothing. In essence, it has a certain sense of vitality that’s common to most of the best cinema to emerge from the sixties—a celebration of the art and possibilities of filmmaking.
