Synopsis
Lord Love a Duck (1966) follows an intense, idealistic teenager who inserts himself into the life of a wealthy suburban classmate, manipulating events to engineer what he believes will be her perfect existence. As his interventions grow increasingly reckless and morally detached, romantic fantasy curdles into social sabotage and quiet tragedy. This satirical black comedy blends suburban melodrama and absurdist humor in a caustic study of innocence warped into control.
