Film Synopsis
Last Woman on Earth (1960) follows three vacationers who resurface from a scuba dive to discover that a mysterious global catastrophe has left the world devoid of life. As they traverse deserted towns and struggle with isolation and rising interpersonal tensions, the fragile bonds between them are tested by survival and desire. This science-fiction drama blends stark post‑apocalyptic atmosphere and human conflict in a stark study of solitude and instinct.
