Film Synopsis
Lady Desire (1969) follows a wealthy young woman living in self-imposed isolation inside her Athens mansion after thieves steal valuable jewelry and family heirlooms. As a police investigator examines her acquaintances and uncovers conflicting accounts tied to her romantic past, the investigation reveals layers of manipulation, secrecy, and emotional instability surrounding the case. This Greek crime melodrama centers on a personal investigation shaped by concealed desire, as suspicion spreads through her social circle, with romantic obsession, deception, and psychological tension.

- Mondo Macabro’s “The Greek Collection, Volume 5 - Limited Edition” also includes Sexomania (1974). It contains a 24-page booklet with writing by Jacques Spohr (“James Paris and the First Greek Sex Wave”) and four double-sided art cards. Reissued as a standard edition without booklet and cards (2025/09/09).
