They come from another world!
Synopsis
A small-town doctor discovers that residents are being replaced by emotionless duplicates grown from mysterious pods. As more people fall victim, he races to escape and warn the world about the silent invasion. Paranoia and dread mount as no one can be trusted—not even loved ones.
Criticism
-
As a paranoid parable Invasion of the Body Snatchers has few peers, though Quatermass 2 matches its power from a specifically British perspective. … Lean and tautly paced, the film boasts more skin-crawling moments than any dozen of its contemporaries put together.
