House of Terrors (1965) follows a recent widow who travels to her late husband’s isolated country estate to settle his affairs and claim her inheritance. As she and her companions encounter a disfigured caretaker, unexplained disturbances, and evidence of past brutality within the house, fear intensifies around the mansion’s hidden history. This Japanese gothic horror film blends haunted house mystery and grotesque melodrama in a tale of inheritance and concealed violence.
