When the Lone Star State was split wide open – he linked it together with lead!
Film Synopsis
Fort Worth (1951) centers on a reformed gunfighter who arrives in Texas determined to leave behind the life that made him notorious. As he establishes a newspaper and advocates for progress while powerful cattle interests resist the changes reshaping the frontier, tensions escalate into a struggle that threatens both his ambitions and his hard-won reputation. This western drama examines redemption and civic responsibility within a rapidly changing frontier society, as old ways clash with emerging institutions, with gunfighters, ranchers, and political conflict.
