Synopsis
Escape from Alcatraz (1979) follows a determined convict transferred to the notorious island penitentiary, where strict routines and harsh discipline mask the possibility of escape. As he studies the prison’s weaknesses and recruits fellow inmates to aid his scheme, ingenuity and patience become tools against an unforgiving system.
