Shame, shame… everybody knows your name…
Darling (1965) follows a young model in 1960s London whose rise to prominence is fueled by a series of relationships with influential men in broadcasting, publishing, and international aristocracy. As her career accelerates and her public image expands, she confronts emotional detachment and the moral compromises behind her success. This British drama blends social satire and character study in a portrait of fame and spiritual emptiness.
