Film Synopsis
Dark Night of the Scarecrow (1981) follows a gentle, developmentally-disabled man wrongly accused of harming a young girl in a rural community, only to be hunted and killed by a group of self-appointed vigilantes. After their acquittal, an eerie scarecrow begins to appear across town, and each member of the lynch mob faces mysterious, fatal consequences that blur vengeance and the supernatural. This horror thriller blends creeping dread and small-town justice in a haunting tale of retribution and remorse.
