Film Synopsis
Criminally Insane 2 (1987) follows a psychotic murderer released from a budget-strapped mental institution who is transferred to a halfway house where her delusions and violent impulses quickly resurface. As she lashes out at staff and residents while flashbacks to past crimes intercut with her downward spiral, tension grows from the clash between her hunger-driven mania and the bleak setting. This horror exploitation sequel blends low-budget shot-on-video aesthetics with grisly repurposed footage in a surreal, lurid continuation of its predecessor.
